INSATIABLE

He sees beyond the norm of sight

    visions that labour day and night

And those caught up into this quest

    are soon persuaded it is the best

There is no other voice or judgment

    to match the fire within this soul

For who would dare to challenge this flame

    that burns in the realms of thought and theory

This man of passion his hunger never wearies

So don’t try to bind this insatiable mind

    for a wondering heart is all you’ll render

He may want to belong.. but not be a member

    And yet within this brazen young heart

Between the occasional pomposity and smart

    there are chambers reserved for those chosen. 

For what this soul harbours is vulnerable and sweet

    and his laughter shields him from defeat

Although he forever is spreading his wings

    a friend is never forgotten.

And a generous heart overflows within

     this angel of mercy with the devilish grin

And we who think the world of him

    Are caught up in the essence to have

the confidence to Be.
