INTANGIBLE 

He has no need to be in the lead;

     he cares not for spotlight; nor flare. 

What is seen is contentment to be silent and unassuming. 

    But linger longer and you will feel

there’s some mysterious enigmatic pull;

    a power source behind the smile beguiling.

Observe the man on higher ground

    within the lee he can be found safe with kindred spirits. 

Here passion arises the skies and horizon

    ablaze with a soul set free

and just when you feel there’s nothing left to reveal

    something deeper begins to surface.

Beneath the shell of a distant stance

    a soul of candour and sensitivity stands. 

Engaging an ability to listen. 

    And should you chance a meaningful glance

you will see his eyes discerning. 

    His scrutiny is not to judge;

nor does he care to know too much.  

    His outer self upheld to view;

the inner man you never knew. 

    As confidents are chosen in stealth - lest he let you in.
