Thursday Nite in the Now

Lights are dimmed an essence moves

Anticipate an oceans rush against the tide

of discontent and compromise

Freedom rules for just one night

Orgasmic storms ride the wave

back and forth; rise and fall

Its milky flow soothes the edge

and with each swell the undertow

leaves debris in its wake

And a wilful spirit empties its head

Now touch the sky kiss the high

catch the wave

or drown in a sea of happiness   

The choice is yours to make

an awesome place to be

Mosaic tunes spiral round

hungry flames ignite in sound

passion thunders; takes control

no one knows where it will go

The journey begins where it ends

Now lights shut down the door is closed

behind these walls their energy floats

Haunting laughter echoes off

the walls adorned with song

And an empty room waits

City streets rattle their chains

compromise may scream my name
